Audio on the same order as cameras
Add a shotgun, wireless kit, or comms system to the same cart as your camera rental, lenses, and lighting. One order, one pickup, one return.
Comms sized to the crew
Solidcom systems in 4, 6, 8, and 20 headset builds, all full-duplex. The Pro kits are expandable and backward compatible with Solidcom C1, so the system grows with the call sheet.

Common questions

What audio equipment can I rent in Toronto at Viva Camera?
The audio shelf covers the Sennheiser MKE 600 shotgun, the Sennheiser XSW wireless plug-on system with handheld mic, Rode VideoMic NTG and VideoMic Micro on-camera mics, DJI Mic 2 wireless kits in single and two-person packs, the Zoom F6 multitrack field recorder, the Deity TC-1 wireless timecode kit, a 15-foot boom pole, and Hollyland Solidcom intercom systems from 4 to 20 headsets. Everything is owned, tested between rentals, and bookable online with same-day pickup at 777 The Queensway.
Can I rent walkie talkies for my film crew?
We stock the on-set upgrade instead: Hollyland Solidcom full-duplex wireless intercom systems. Unlike push-to-talk walkies, every headset talks and hears at the same time, hands-free, with no bodypack. Systems run from 4 headsets at $80 a day to a 20-headset roaming hub at $500 a day, with 1,000 to 1,600 feet of two-way range depending on the system, and batteries and chargers come in the case.
Which wireless microphone kit should I rent for interviews?
For one or two seated subjects, the DJI Mic 2 two-person kit is the fast answer: two clip-on transmitters, a dual-channel receiver, intelligent noise cancelling, and 32-bit float onboard recording as a safety net. For a handheld mic, the Sennheiser XSW plug-on system pairs in one button and runs about 5 hours per charge. For boom-mounted dialogue, take the Sennheiser MKE 600 with the boom pole and run it into your camera or the Zoom F6.
How much does audio equipment rental cost in Toronto?
On-camera mics start at $10 a day for the Rode VideoMic Micro. Shotgun and wireless mic kits run $15 to $35 a day. The Zoom F6 recorder and the Deity TC-1 timecode kit are $40 a day each. Hollyland comms systems run $80 a day for 4 headsets up to $500 a day for the 20-headset roaming hub. Multi-day and weekly rentals are discounted, and every product page shows live pricing and availability.
How do I keep audio in sync across multiple cameras?
Rent the Deity TC-1 wireless timecode kit. It generates and jams every SMPTE timecode format, holds drift under one frame per 72 hours, and connects over a locking 3.5mm port. Jam each camera and the Zoom F6 at call time and your editor lines up multi-cam takes without hunting for the clap. The TC-1 runs about 28 hours on a charge, so it covers a full shoot day with room to spare.
Can a US production shooting in Toronto rent audio gear from you?
Yes. US and international productions shooting in Toronto rent from us regularly. Book online from anywhere, and we will prep the audio package ahead of your arrival. A Certificate of Insurance is available on request, and we work with certificates from foreign brokers. Pickup is at 777 The Queensway, Monday to Friday 9am-6pm, with weekend pickups by appointment.
