Sony E-mount is the native lens system on every A7-series, FX3, FX30, and a6700 body in our inventory, which means autofocus, image stabilization, and continuous eye tracking all run at full speed without an adapter in the path. PL-to-E and EF-to-E adapters open the door to cinema PL primes and legacy DSLR EF glass when a shoot calls for it, and full-frame native E lenses cover both 35mm A7-series sensors edge to edge and APS-C bodies with the standard 1.5x crop. Hybrid stills and video shooters pull the same lens for a 33MP frame and a 4K 10-bit S-Log3 clip without changing the kit between deliverables.

What's included in each kit

Every photo lens ships clean, focus-checked, and packed in its own padded case with the front and rear caps and the matching lens hood. Need a polariser, variable ND, or step-up ring? Add it at the booking step and the lens shows up with the filter in the case.

Common questions

Native Sony E vs adapted EF: which should I rent?
Native Sony E is the default for Sony A7-series shooters because eye AF, image stabilization, and continuous tracking all run at full speed without an adapter in the path. Pick adapted EF (via the Sigma MC-11) only when you already own a piece of EF glass that has no native E equivalent, or when budget routes you to a known DSLR-era prime. Most clients book native E and skip the adapter entirely.
Sony G Master vs Sigma Art on Sony E: how do I choose?
Sony G Master gives the fastest, quietest autofocus, the cleanest hybrid stills/video performance with Sony bodies, and the modern coatings that hold up under flare-heavy lighting. Sigma Art native E delivers the f/1.4 character at a lower day rate and is the smart pick for portrait and editorial work where shallow depth of field is the brief. Both lines share the same E-mount, so you can mix them on a single A7-series body without changes.
How fast is autofocus on these lenses with the A7-series?
Native Sony G Master glass runs the fastest, with linear motors that track moving subjects and lock real-time eye AF for stills and video. Sigma Art native E is close behind on the newer DG DN lineup. The Laowa Zero-D ultra-wides are autofocus on the FF AF series, and the MC-11 adapter passes EF AF through but with reduced speed compared to native E.
Which of these lenses have image stabilization?
The Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II carries optical SteadyShot. Most other primes and zooms in the kit rely on the in-body 5-axis stabilization in the Sony A7-series body itself, which is plenty for handheld stills and short handheld video clips. For long lens video work or aerial sequences, pair the 70-200 GM II with body IBIS for a stacked stabilization stage.
Full-frame vs APS-C coverage: which lenses cover what?
Every Sony G Master, Sigma Art native E, and Laowa Zero-D FF lens in the library covers full-frame Sony A7-series sensors edge to edge. The same lenses also work on APS-C bodies (a6700, FX30) with the standard 1.5x crop applied. There are no APS-C-only lenses in this kit, so glass moves cleanly between full-frame and crop bodies on the same shoot.
Do you deliver photo lenses outside Toronto?
Yes. We deliver lens rentals across the GTA for an additional fee. You will get a delivery quote at the booking step based on your shoot location.
