Every DJI body in the library books on real-time inventory and ships in its hard case with the batteries, cables, ND filters, and mounting hardware that came in the box. Drone rentals include all three Mini 5 Pro Fly More batteries, the RC 2 controller with the built-in 7-inch screen, and the ND8/16/32/64 filter set. Ronin 4D rentals include the X9-6K sensor, the high-bright monitor, the LiDAR range finder, the top handle, the focus motor, and a 1TB ProSSD.

What's included in each kit

Every DJI rental ships in a hard case with batteries, charger, cables, and the mounting hardware shipped with the body. Add ND filter sets, extra batteries, microSD or CFexpress media, or a Certificate of Insurance at the booking step. All bodies share charging across the DJI Osmo battery family where applicable, so a single charger covers Pocket 4 and Action 6.

Common questions

How does the DJI Mini 5 Pro compare to the older Mavic line?
The Mini 5 Pro lands at sub-250g with a 1-inch sensor, 8K30 video, and a 224-minute battery on the larger pack, so for most Toronto crews it replaces the older Mavic on the carnet entirely. The big practical win is the weight class: under 250g means no Transport Canada drone pilot certificate is required for basic operations, where a Mavic 3 sits in the Advanced category and triggers more paperwork.
Osmo Pocket 4 vs Osmo Action 6, which one do I want?
The Osmo Pocket 4 has a 1-inch sensor on a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, so it shoots clean 4K100 footage handheld with no rolling shutter wobble. Pick it for vlog, BTS interviews, and walking shots. The Osmo Action 6 is a flat-front waterproof action body with a square-sensor option, so pick it for helmet, chest, hood, or surf mounts where you need to take a hit and stay running. They share batteries inside the DJI Osmo battery family but the use cases barely overlap.
What's the learning curve on the DJI Ronin 4D?
Plan for a half-day on the first rental if no one on the crew has run it before. The Ronin 4D 6K combines the camera, gimbal, monitor, focus motor, and LiDAR rangefinder into one unit, so the controls are different from a Komodo or FX6 build. The LiDAR autofocus is the win once it's dialed in, but the menu system and the X9 sensor profile take an hour or two to feel familiar. We hand it over with the rigging and a quick walkthrough at pickup.
Do I need drone insurance and a Transport Canada certificate to rent the Mini 5 Pro?
For sub-250g operations the Mini 5 Pro does not require a Transport Canada drone pilot certificate, but commercial work still benefits from drone liability insurance. We require a deposit on every drone rental and a Certificate of Insurance is available on request for productions whose policy covers RPAS operations. For Mavic 3 class and heavier, an Advanced operations certificate and a registered drone are required.
What ND filters fit the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 and Osmo Action 6?
The Osmo Pocket 4 takes the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 ND filter set (ND8/16/32/64), which threads onto the front of the lens housing. The Osmo Action 6 uses the DJI Action 6 magnetic ND adapter ring with the matching ND set. Both filter packs ship with the body in the rental case so you can drop exposure two to six stops without packing extras.
Can I get a Certificate of Insurance for a DJI rental?
Yes. For commercial productions and brand shoots, we issue a Certificate of Insurance on request. Send your production name, shoot dates, and your insurance broker's certificate-holder details, and we will turn it around within one business day. COI is required for Ronin 4D and Mini 5 Pro rentals on commercial work.
