Every set ships PL-mount with matched front diameters, 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears, and image-circle coverage rated against the sensor it pairs with. T-stops are calibrated (not f-stops), so exposure stays consistent across focal lengths within a set. Focus throw runs long enough for a 1st AC to pull cleanly without stops bunched at infinity, and breathing on the Vespid 2 and Arles VV sets is controlled enough for narrative work. Anamorphic options are available on request through our partner houses.

Every set ships in a Pelican hard case with foam inserts cut to each focal length, front and rear caps (PL pinch caps included), lens support collars where needed, and matched 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears. Add matte box, ND set, follow focus motors (Tilta Nucleus or ARRI cforce), or wireless monitoring at the booking step.

Can I run PL-mount cine glass on a Sony E-mount body?

Yes. We keep PL-to-Sony E adapters on hand so the Vespid 2, Arles VV, and Catta Ace zooms drop onto an FX6, FX3, or FX30 without changing the booking. Thypoch Simera-C primes are native Sony E, so no adapter is needed there. PL is native on RED V-Raptor and Komodo-X with the Locking PL mount.

Which sets cover full-frame vs Super 35?

Vespid 2, Catta Ace zooms, and Thypoch Simera-C cover full-frame sensors (Vista Vision included for Catta Ace at the long end). The Arles T1.4 set is built for Vista Vision coverage, so it works on the largest cinema sensors. Image circle and front-element data is in each kit accordion below.

Are the lenses geared for follow focus?

Every prime and zoom in the library ships with matched 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears, so a Tilta Nucleus, ARRI cforce, or any standard FIZ motor will pull cleanly out of the case. Front diameters are matched within each set so the matte box and donut stay on while the lens swaps.

Do the T-stops match across a set?

Vespid 2 holds T1.9 across the 6-prime set. Arles VV holds T1.4 across most of the 10-prime set, with the 14mm at T1.9 and the 180mm at T2.4 (the practical limit at those focal lengths). Catta Ace zooms hold T2.9 across the zoom range. Simera-C primes hold T1.5.

What's in a cine lens set besides the lenses?
