How rentals work
Renting for Canon RF or EF?
We do not currently stock Canon RF zooms; the RF trinity we carried has been retired. Here is what covers the same work today, all live in stock:
- Cine glass on a Canon RF body: DZOFilm Vespid primes (PL mount) mount cleanly with the DZOFilm PL to RF adapter.
- EF primes on an RF body: the Canon EF to RF adapter is in stock, and our Helios 44-2 58mm, Jupiter-9 85mm, and Mir-1V 37mm vintage EF primes mount natively.
- L-series zoom equivalents: the Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II, 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II, and 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II match the retired RF trinity stop for stop on a Sony body.
- Bringing your own EF glass to a Sony body: the Sigma MC-11 EF to E adapter is in stock, alongside our Sigma Art lenses in Sony E mount.
Need a specific Canon focal length matched? Call or text +1 437 747 6030 and we will spec the closest equivalent from the shelf.
Most lens orders go out with a camera rental in Toronto, a lighting package, or grip and rigging from the same shelf. Browse the full catalog at vivacamera.ca.
